Job Title: Viberdyne Operator & Robot/Etch Operator

General Summary:

  • Works with Supervisor to ensure parts are put through Viberdyne machine properly and shipped in a timely manner according to customers’ needs.

  • Works with Supervisor to ensure that parts are put through the Robot/Etch machine properly and shipped in a timely manner according to customer needs.

Essential Job Functions Include:

  • Follow oral and written instructions to meet customer requirements.

  • Knowledge of Viberdyne process to be sure all functions are performed in compliance with quality control and safety standards.

  • Filling out necessary documentation to complete procedure.

  • Operation of Viberdyne machine and Centrifuge.

  • Operation and fluid maintenance of the Alliance Parts Washer.

  • Complete all equipment CIL’s.

  • Dechipping parts and transferring them to the next operation.

  • Knowledge of Robot/Etch processes to be sure all functions are performed in compliance with quality control and safety standards.

  • Operation of both Robot/Etch machinery, and transfer of parts to next operation.

  • Ability to work from specifications with limited detail.

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Maintenance of supplies and equipment used in area including general housekeeping.

  • Knowledge of inspection process to be sure all operations are in compliance with quality control standards.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by exhibiting behavior that is respectful of co-workers, customers, and management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be tested yearly to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye and must be capable to read Jaeger Number 1 test chart or equivalent distance of not less than 12”.  Equivalent eye exam results for Jaeger J-1 visual acuity are; Snellen 20/20; Times Roman 3.5 text; OrthoRater#9; or Titmus (SAB-1, SAL-1 or SAR-1) #10.

  • Must be able to differentiate between colors used.

  • Must be able to actively move through work area to perform job functions

  • Hearing must be correctable to allow understanding of instructions given.

  • Mobility and coordination must allow for appropriate tasks to be performed.

  • Ability to lift 75 pound box from floor to maximum height of 36 inches.

  • Physical (% of time):  100% - standing, talking hearing, vision (near and far), depth perception.  70% -lifting/lowering 1-60+ Lbs. 50%-walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting/twisting, peripheral vision.  20%-sitting.

  • Psychological (% of time):  10%-reading, mental stress, working with others

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High School education.
