Tony Deastell named Winsert, Inc. 2017 employee of the year

MARINETTE, WI – Winsert, Inc. is pleased to announce that Tony Deastell has been named the company’s 2017 Employee of the Year. Tony, who was hired in 2012, currently holds the position of side grinder in Winsert’s machine shop. Tony is a great asset to Winsert; he is a team player that is always considerate of his co-workers and does what is needed at all times to get the job done. He is a model worker who never misses a day of work and goes above and beyond what is expected of him. Tony’s care for Winsert and our customers is evident in the effort he puts forth each and every day.
Trisha Lemery, Winsert’s president & CEO, commented that Tony is an exemplary example of the culture of what Winsert looks for in our employees. She further said, “It is an absolute pleasure to work with Tony and see his dedication and enthusiasm. We are so proud to have him as part of the Winsert family and look forward to many more years of service with him.”
Arlene Desjarlais, Winsert’s 3rd shift supervisor, went on to say “When I look at Tony from a supervisor’s viewpoint, I see an employee who comes to work every day on time ready to give 100% and has a positive attitude about his job and life”.
Originally from Wausaukee, Tony along with his wife, Tammy, and son, Torry, have lived in Pound for the past 11 years. Tony enjoys hunting, fishing, and he is hoping to do more camping in the future. Tony is an avid fan of watching his son and supporting him in his athletic events. When asked what Tony likes best about Winsert, he stated that Winsert has a friendly atmosphere, he likes what he does, and he is always busy.
