MARINETTE, WI – Winsert, Inc. has earned recognition as John Deere Power Systems 2018 Supplier of the Year in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. Winsert recently received “Partner-level Supplier” status within the program for the eighth consecutive year and was inducted into the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame in 2015. The Marinette, Wisconsin-based company was selected for the Supplier of the Year honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. Company employees accepted the recognition during the Achieving Excellence global awards banquet held on April 16th in Iowa.

Winsert is a supplier of valve seat inserts to John Deere’s operation in Waterloo, IA, Springfield, MO, Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, and Saran, France.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
