The Marinette, Wisconsin-based company was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.
Winsert is a supplier of valve seat inserts to John Deere’s operation in Waterloo, IA, Springfield, MO, Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, and Saran, France.
Trisha Dickinson Lemery, Winsert’s president & CEO, is proud of the Winsert family for this accomplishment. “This is Winsert’s eighth consecutive year of being honored as a “Partner-level” supplier to John Deere. This would not be possible without our committed workforce who work hard each and every day, producing high quality, innovative and affordable engine components for John Deere.”
Winsert’s Vice President of Special Projects, Paul Dickinson, went on to say that “As a Partner-level supplier, we align our business processes and initiatives by being responsive through sharing information freely to resolve problems and respond to needs on demand. Congratulations to our employees for this remarkable accomplishment.”
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
