MARINETTE, WI – Winsert, Inc. formally announced today that their Marinette-based headquarters and the annex materials research center have successfully passed the certification audit for the Automotive Quality Management System IATF 16949:2016. IATF 16949:2016 is a widely used international standard required by the automotive industry for standardization of quality management systems. The adoption is a strategic decision for the organization that provides a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives and helps improve its overall performance. IATF 16949:2016 supersedes and replaces ISO/TS 16949 and its certification is a precondition to supply for most automotive manufacturers and their direct suppliers across North America and Europe.
