General Summary:
Work closely with shift supervisor and operators to ensure that orders are machined in a timely manner per customer requirements.
Essential Job Functions Include:
- Efficiently perform CNC and auto lathe set ups on production parts.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Assist operators when required.
- Troubleshoot related equipment for process/maintenance issues.
- Ability to measure all customer specifications.
- Must get along with others.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Set-up and running of sample parts.
- Training of CNC and auto-lathes set ups/operators.
- Operating of CNCs and auto lathes when required.
- Work directly on continuous improvements implementation.
- Perform duties of QA technician when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exercise good time management, communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to use TCM, Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and SPC.
- Able to read, understand and edit G-code for CNC programs.
- Must get along with others.
Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching.
- Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Requires exposure to machines and chemicals.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction).
- Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes for this position.
- Must be able to resolve problems on a daily basis handle multi-tasking and make effective decisions under pressure.
Education and Experience:
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year CNC/Lathe operation.
- Technical training is preferred.
Total Compensation Package:
- Hourly Pay: $27.50-$31 plus $0.75 shift differential!
- Bonus of $1,000 at one year anniversary & $1,500 at two year anniversary
