W940-P™ is a special high chromium white cast iron developed to replace the standard high chromium white cast iron for making sandmill discs. Abrasion tests indicate the wear resistance of W940™ is more than doubled compared to current production sandmill disc alloy – a standard high chromium white cast iron.
