W711-P® is a proprietary high carbon and high alloy iron-base alloy with good plastic deformation resistance for increased wear resistance at intake working temperatures. The wear resistance is significantly better than traditional M2 type tool steels as well as high chromium type iron-base alloys in heavy duty intake applications.
