W12-P™ is an austenitic high temperature corrosion- and wear-resistant iron-base alloy containing intermetallic compounds. Actual turbocharger and EGR tests indicate the wear resistance of W12-P™ is similar to a cobalt-base common trade material at working temperatures of 350°C and 760°C respectively. Salt corrosion resistance of W12-P™ is also comparable to 304/316 grade stainless steels.
