Winsert enjoys challenges, and the greater the challenge, the better. Machining proprietary alloys or other commercially wear resistant alloys is not an easy task. However, Winsert has an advantage from starting from the ground up in many projects, using the latest alloy technology. Winsert has the ability to decide on casting designs and machining methods. Often times, all of the machining including snagging, lathe, milling, grinding, and foundry pattern tooling is done in house, utilizing the latest alloy technology available. This gives our area a unique advantage and allows Winsert to complete jobs thoroughly with few interruptions. When Winsert learns better ways of completing a task, it is put to good use immediately. In many cases, Winsert improved everyday manufacturing in profound ways by doing jobs this way.
