Precision Valve Seat Inserts
Many customers are moving to valve seat inserts (VSIs) that require no further machining after installation. This offers several benefits: - As VSI alloys get harder, they are more difficult to machine and require more expensive cutting tools; - The cost of the machining equipment itself is a significant savings in capital when eliminated from the manufacturing process; - A higher level of quality can be assured with a pre-machined seat.
