Valve Seat Insert

VALVE SEAT INSERTS


Winsert is the leading manufacturer of high quality wear resistant cast valve seat inserts (VSI) that assure extended service life in moderate to severe elevated temperature, high load pressure, and corrosive fuel environments for all engine sizes. Alloy selection includes traditional wear resistant to unique proprietary materials designed to match the specific application of the valve inserts. Our materials will assist your company in meeting the standards set forth for tier diesel emission controls, as well as other fuel standards.


Winsert valve seat insert materials help a customer realize significant savings in valve train costs by offering our customers material wear pair solutions that ensure the most economic valve and valve seat insert combinations are selected, while still further improving service life—the best of both worlds.
Winsert has extensive experience with various fuel types including diesel and alternative, such as CNG, LPG, E85 and biofuel).

BUSHINGS AND BEARINGS


The challenges of mechanical actuation in high temperature corrosive atmospheres are met using the Winsert portfolio of alloys for bearing/bushings and thrust washers and the like. Winsert has the ability to reduce the concerns associated with differing thermal expansion rates of mating components by controlling or matching the rate of one component to the other closely. Our bearings are manufactured to stringent tolerances assuring worry-free assembly and operation of the finished components.


EGR

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION


Capitalizing on our experience with demanding, high temperature, high load, high corrosive potential valve train applications, Winsert manufactures EGR wear resistant alloy components truly suitable for the exhaust gas environment. Winsert knows how to replace expensive nickel or cobalt base alloys with proprietary iron base alloys that are lab tested in house under similar condition as the actual component operates. Winsert is committed to getting the material choice right the first time. We produce only the best turbo charger bushings, shafts and bearing parts, mechanical seals, washers and more.


A common solution for unique EGR components wear resistant applications is to use expensive alloys. However, at Winsert we provide significant savings to customers from the design phase when optimum EGR wear pair material answers are selected to warranty issues that need rapid closure.

Winsert is capable of producing and verifying the chemistry of many difficult to find alloys. Ingot material can be supplied in various forms allowing re-melt without the need for our customer to do chemical analysis at their facility.
