  • Industrial Engineer

    GENERAL SUMMARY:
    Under the direction of the VP of Engineering and Process Engineer will ensure production standards are relevant and useful in cost estimation, production planning optimizing cost, quality and work flow. Development and maintenance of standard work along with improvement of manufacturing processes and methods and documentation achieving set timing, financial and quality targets. Works closely with the Product Engineering team, PSC, Operations, Shop Supervisors, and Quality department personnel.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    · Analyze, plan and document manufacturing processes that meet all quality, timing and cost goals. Machine assets, space requirements, work flow, layout of equipment, inspection techniques and the safety of personnel are to be considered.
    · ERP Routing and BOM creation & maintenance.
    · Verification and Validation of production standards through analysis and time studies.
    · Support production to maintain processes, troubleshoot and resolve problems with the products, equipment or processes.
    · Process change management, communication and implementation verification
    · Performs preliminary cost estimation information for quotation system.
    · Must become "fluent" in ERP system to analyze over or underperforming part numbers applying lessons learned whenever possible.
    · Adhere to Winsert code of conduct.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    · Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry, algebra, calculus, and trigonometry.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    · Requires a Bachelor degree or Associate degree in engineering and 2-5 years of progressive engineering experience; with 3-5years progressive related manufacturing experience; or a combination of education and work experience.

  • Business Development Manager

    GENERAL SUMMARY:
    The Business Development Manager is responsible for evaluating new prospects and markets while working with internal andexternal customers to validate opportunities focused on extreme metal wear applications which may result in new business for Winsert.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Identify and develop new opportunities and customers by presenting technical capabilities of Winsert's products and services for profitable sales.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to properly investigate and validate new market leads which align with Winsert core competencies and R&D expertise.
    • Collaborate with Winsert resources for joint sales calls and technical discussions with potential customers.
    • Support traditional Winsert sales through prospecting, account management and attention to current customers as assigned.
    • Maintain activity files and be a champion user of Contact Report Management (CRM) for customer opportunity tracking and account and contact management.
    • Supply Management and other Sales team members with customer visit reports.
    • Ensure seamless transition of new customers and products through collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Product & Process Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Quality Engineering and Manufacturing.

    SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Assist in developing profitable pricing strategies for new industry products and services.
    • Watch and advise of market trends relative to traditional, emerging and new potential markets.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 8-10 years demonstrable success as principal salesperson of technically advanced or engineered products to OEMs
    • Demonstrated success in creating profitable new markets/customers
    • Technical knowledge of engines and metallurgy is a plus
    • Proven ability to establish and maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers and co-workers.

  • Aftermarket & Sales Support Representative

    GENERAL SUMMARY:
    The Aftermarket and Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing administrative support to the Winsert Sales Team relative to the diverse selling and customer service functions of Winsert. In addition, this position is responsible for participating in actual sales with customers, including certain account management functions.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Assist with all internal and external Departmental correspondence.
    • Maintain favorable and regular contact and correspondence of Aftermarket and other customers as assigned.
    • Manage Request for Quote (RFQ) process by initiating e-quotes and working closely with Product & Process Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Quality Engineering by conducting quote review meetings as required as well as finalizing quotations for submission to the customer.
    • Ensure seamless transition of new customer orders through collaboration with Customer Service, Product & Process Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Quality Engineering and Manufacturing.
    • Manage quarterly Metal Market Adjustment (MMA) calculations and customer alert process with regard to same.
    • Relay customer forecasts of assigned customers to the organization and maintain the data year over year.
    SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Interface with other non-assigned customers, both internal and external as needed.
    • Assist with Customer Service functions such as order review, order entry, and logistics planning.
    • Serve as backup for Customer Service.

  • General Foundry

    GENERAL SUMMARY:
    This person shall have a complete understanding of Foundry practices and procedures and a grasp of basic mathematical skills.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Effectively perform Foundry jobs as directed and prioritized: molding, mold assembly, snagging, blasting, shakeout, rough inspect.
    • Correctly effects general housekeeping.
    • Carries out other duties and assignments as directed.


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
    • Must have excellent time management skills, ability to work with minimum supervision and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and team orientation skills.
    • Can utilize basic mathematic skills.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Vision must be correctable to allow performance of required foundry skills.

    • Ability to lift 75 pound box from floor to a maximum height of 36 inches.
    • Physical (% of time): 100% - standing, talking, hearing, vision (near & far), depth perception. 70% - lifting/lowering 1-60+ lbs. 50% - walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting/twisting, peripheral vision. 20% - sitting.
    • Environment (% of time): 100% - vibration, lung irritants. 50% - cold, heat. 20% - heights.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • 0-2 years of demonstrable and practical skills in all Foundry procedures; 2 years preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and/or technical training/certification.
